WATERFRONT OPTIONS

Loon Lake is a special place in the Lower Mainland. It’s a large 56 hectare, private lake, that limits use to non-motorized activities and has banned fishing. These restrictions have kept it a pristine natural paradise for local birds and a wonderful living lab for scientific research.

Activities offered:

We do encourage our guests to enjoy the lake in a responsible fashion and are happy to offer the following services:

Beginner's Swimming Hole
We offer a square-shaped dock with an interior swimming hole to help beginner swimmers get comfortable in the Lake. They are never more than a few metres away from the dock, but it's big enough to learn to swim, too!

Canoeing
Loon Lake has 18 canoes available for group rental. Spend some time paddling out across the lake and enjoying a classic Canadian pastime. A canoe rental rate of $250 per day applies.

+ Add a Canoe Instructor
Canoeing is synonymous with the Canadian wilderness, and there is both an art and a skill to canoeing properly and safely. Groups of up to 20 people, can now add certified canoeing instruction for $10 per person (minimum $100 group fee). Canoe lessons are 1.5-2 hours in length.
